As one of its principal authors, Senator JV is proud to have championed this law, which aims to protect farmers and fisherfolk from illegal traders and importers. It also addresses the pressing issues of smuggling, hoarding, profiteering, and cartels, safeguarding the agricultural sector and securing a stable food supply for the Filipino people.
