I would like to thank the ECCP - European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and Embassy of Sweden in Manila for organizing the 2025 Transportation Forum. The forum focused on connecting the Philippines through sustainable transportation, an advocacy I have always pushed for since my first term in the Senate.
We are also pushing for the Masterplan for Infrastructure and Development Act (MIND Act) to ensure continuity and long-term planning in infrastructure. I have always been fighting for infrastructure development and have consistently advocated for a higher budget for infrastructure since my first term in the Senate.
It is important that we fight for transport infrastructure development. With proper infrastructure, we can establish industrial estates, housing, food terminals, and other growth drivers in the provinces which in turn will produce jobs and opportunities, balance development nationwide, and support long-term economic growth.
