ANNYEONGHASSEYO TO THE PH-KOREA PARLIAMENTARY FRIENDSHIP GROUP!

We were pleased to welcome the Philippines–Republic of Korea (ROK) Parliamentary Friendship Association, led by its President Kim Sung-won, Vice President Park Ming-kyu, as well as Ambassador Lee Sang Hwa, and First Secretary Song Hyuntae.
It was an honor to meet fellow legislators from the Korean National Assembly and engage in meaningful discussions on shared interests and cooperation. We expressed our appreciation for South Korea as a key development partner in priority infrastructure programs especially for critical road and bridge projects in the provinces. These infrastructure projects are key to improve connectivity, decongest urban centers, and promote balanced regional growth.
With the global influence of Korean pop culture and the deep, longstanding friendship between our two countries, this gathering further strengthened our ties and reaffirmed our commitment to closer parliamentary and diplomatic relations between the Philippines and the Republic of Korea.
